When painting is a hobby, time often competes with many other priorities.
Updating the website easily falls by the wayside – and that has happened to me as well.

But now there’s finally something new to see:
The gallery pages of Teresa and Thomas have been updated with new paintings.

Over the last few months, I have set myself a great challenge and created a post every day for 100 days. It was a lot of fun almost every day. It has also had a positive impact on my art skills. I have become more confident in sketching and have learnt to trust the process of creating art even more.

PaintArt Beck is a family that shares a common passion for painting across two generations. We have discovered our hobby in different ways, but one thing unites us: the joy we feel when working with a wide variety of painting techniques and media.

Our creativity has room to grow, as we like to try out new techniques and ideas in order to constantly improve our artistic skills. We are inspired by different impressions, with each generation having its own unique influences.

We are proud to share our artistic talents as a family and hope that our artwork can inspire people around the world.

Teresa, born in 1954, has had a strong interest in art and painting since her early youth. Although she had to take longer breaks due to her personal life story, she never completely let go of painting. In recent years, however, she has intensified her passion again through various courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cologne.

Teresa’s paintings are strongly influenced by nature and situations she has experienced, and she is particularly inspired by the beauty of the sea and flowers. These elements are reflected in her works and give them a unique vibrancy and expressiveness. Her observations and experiences become sources of inspiration, which she expresses sensitively and artistically in her paintings.

Over the years, Teresa has developed a special sensitivity for the nuances and moods of nature, which are expressed in her works of art. Her work invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of natural beauty and to experience Teresa’s impressions and emotions.

Thomas, born in 1979, came to painting late in life. Although he occasionally came into contact with it at a young age through his mother’s passion, he did not discover his true passion for it until 2021, when he was looking for a balance to his everyday working life.

He finds his inspiration primarily in landscapes, colours and abstract art. These elements stimulate his creative side and give him the opportunity to express his own unique interpretation of the world around him. Thomas draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, the rich colour palettes and the intriguing forms of abstract artworks that bring his works to life.

With his late discovery of painting, Thomas brings a unique perspective and experience to his works, characterised by his pursuit of expression and desire for artistic development.
